Wow today was purty insane!! This morning was the LAST time I will ever let my mom switch over her purses without me to make sure she doesn't forget anything!!! LOL so she forgot her keys to the front door when we left and HOW she locked the front door without it I DO NOT KNOW... But anyways we got home and came to realize we were locked out of my own home!!! Me being my like relaxed self suggested FOOD to hold us over while we wait to call our landlords... They didn't pick up OMG!!! haha so my mom called Austin and asked if him and Luke could come save us and they said yes!! But their retarded ride LOL jk Cameron wouldn't bring them till after they went shopping ugh (Lexi locked outside and they're SHOPPING) so my mom did it! Affirmative Speech:
Real men can wear pink. Today's men should feel confident enough with their MALE sexuality that they can wear whatever color they want and still look masculine. It's all in a matter of how they carry themselves. Only when someone has a feminine personality and then puts on pink do they look peculiar.
Contention 1: My brother Austin can wear pink and still manage to look fine as wine.

EVIDENCE:
* The amount of phonecalls and text messages he recieves on a daily basis from many females.
* He skateboards, plays basketball, football, and baseball yet can throw on a pink tie for church and look more studly than ever.
* His personality and actions make it clear he's a male not feminine in the least.
Contention 2: Austin's large group of friends wear pink on occasion, as well.

EVIDENCE:
* Colorful attire is more welcoming and pleasing to the eye as recorded in "Style Magazine" June issue 2008.
* Ski shops sell their largest amounts of winter clothing with some form of pink in it as stated by a "Zoomies" employee.
* Women like men with enough self-confidence to pull off wearing any color, particularly pink.
If a man feels good enough about himself, acts like a man, talks like a man, the color he wears doesn't make him any less of a man. If a persons skin tone looks good in a shade of pink then so be it! Go pink! Any objections?

Negative Speech:
Men that wear pink don't appear confident in their sexual orrientation thus, people dont treat them with the respect they deserve. Pink has been a girly-girl color for centuries and it should remain that way. If men were meant to wear pink, the military would dress as such.
Contention 1: Girls wear pink, Boys wear blue:

EVIDENCE:
* When a baby first sees the light of day we can tell if it's a boy or a girl by the color of the ballons delivered as states registered OB nurse, Ms. Rebekah Holmes and Keiser Hospital.
* There has never been a president of the U.S. that wore pink publicly as found in "USA today" newspaper April, 2008.
* When a soldier is caught wearing pink they are ridiculed, mocked, then ordered to change as stated by US Navy recruit, Kris Ortiz.
Contention 2: Pink is soft, feminine, and should stay that way.

EVIDENCE:
* Professional football players known for their masculinity do not wear pink on the field, as Austin Blake, avid pro football fan noted, October 16, 2008.
* Wrestlers across America wear primary colors only to portray solid masculinity.

In closing, for centuries it has been common knowledge that pink and pastels are for girls and blue and primary colors are for boys. Why not keep it simple and leave things as they are? Society today has made it clear that pink is not an exceptible color for men. Why take a chance at men's masculinity being questioned over something as silly as a color.

Drivers Training!

OMW guess what everybody?!? I a taking Drivers training which means I will be getting my permit really soon which means I will be driving on the road like PRONTO!! muahahaha And all of this is possible because of my buddy Kris Ortiz. He paid for it and everything because we couldn't afford it. See aren't I blessed to have such a wonderful family of God??? :) :) :)

Well anyways it is an online class and it's called missiondrivingschool.com so if your looking for a good driving course online I recomend this school. It's useful, covers all the topics, AND is very affordable.

A TOTALLY PACKED WEEK!!!

Well, where do I start?!?! haha starting Saturday.... I was taking a wonderful peaceful nap listening to a preaching tape and then BAM!!! My week began! haha Tamsen and Katie come running into my room and wake me up... (very harshly I must add) lol and ask me if I wanna go to DisneyLand with them THAT NIGHT!!! I said yes of course and called my father for some moolah heheheehee. Once we had the money all sorted out I packed and then we went to the wedding, got in the car went back to the Lombardos, bought my ticket, got in the car, drove to DisneyLand, arrived at 5:30 am, had to change hotels, drove to the next hotel, checked in, went upstairs, slept and then...................... WE WENT TO............................... IHOP... lol I bet you thought I was gonna say DisneyLand huh???? GOTCHA!!! lol well we DID go to DisneyLand the NEXT day and it was a total blast!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNT LISA AND UNCLE CHRIS!!! oh yea and dad!!

Oh yea thats not all...... Once we left DisneyLand we got home at 3:30, I went to bed, woke up at 7:30, went to school, came home, packed for CAMPING!!!, went to baseball, came home, packed more!!!!, went to bed at 1:00 am, woke up at 5:00 am, got in the sar, and drove to OCEAN COVE!!! heheheh AYAYAYAYA

Yup that was my week.... fun stuff!!! now i miss church :( :( :(

Yesterday I was listening to some preaching tapes my mom has from waaaaaaaay back when and one that really affected me was one from PSR in 2002. Bro. Sam Emery was preaching and the title was "It aint OVER!!" He asked us if we've ever lived fully for God and gave 100% but it seemed as if people you knew in the world were getting more blessing than you even though they lived unrightously. What we need to understand is even though we feel like everything is falling apart around us and we can't go on, IT AINT OVER!!! God has blessings for us so great and overflowing we can't even imagine! We just need to hang on and wait and see what God will do because it's all just a matter of time!!

We all think of the song "You are not forgotten" as just another song we sing but when I think about it, it has so much meaning! The words say, "You are not forgotton, God knows your name" this is so true! I've learned that through everything I go through, even when I feel like God left me, he was always there. He was simply making me stronger and preparing me for other trials that WILL eventually come! So just remember GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN!!! :)
